i wish the flowers could stay.  stay forever, filling the air with their fragant scents.  stay forever, painting the world with their brilliant colors. stay forver, caressing my hand and face with their satiny soft petals. stay forever, filling the senses.
don't get me wrong, i love the green of summer.  it is so full of color, not just green.  next time you think about it, really look at the green leaves on a tree.  there are so many other colors! red, blue, violet, yellow, orange...just look, really look and you'll see it too.
but the flowers make me feel like there is hope in this world for someone like me who has yet to fully bloom.  and when they begin to wilt and disappear i feel like i've missed my chance blossom.
the eternal spring of my life is never as beautiful as the fleeting spring of reality.
