i freakin love GYPSY 83
gypsy 83 is a great movie, even if the only copy at blockbuster if fucked up. i recommend finding a non-fucked up version and watching it. i mean how many other movies can you find with the keywords DRAMA, AMISH, ROCK AND ROLL? how many i ask! here are some pics from the movie. just to give you a taste. (btw the movie is NOT set in the 80's, in case you weren't sure)

the LYN is a college student at Mississippi University for Women (admitting men since 1982). She is a graphic design major, and begrudgingly a member a social club called the Highlanders (but in their defense they are a cool group of girls).
